The special meeting, called to order by Chair Paul Bunker, opened with a reminder to residents regarding an impending multi-day heatwave. Chair Bunker noted that town cooling stations—including Town Hall, the Abington Public Library, the Senior Center, and Island Grove—will feature adjusted operating hours to help community members seek relief through the end of the week.
